Sending a Photo Email doesn't have to be cumbersome or frustrating
Almost everyone who owns a digital camera has sent a photo email and found it a painful process. When I first envisioned this website, I planned to include a page explaining the best ways to share photographs by email. It seems that everyone is sending photos by email these days, but frequently they're more trouble than they're worth -- to send AND to receive! Often, the attachments are so large, they fill up our allotted space on our e-mail account, causing other e-mails to get bounced back. Sometimes, recipients can't see or save the attached photographs.
I've been using a product now for several years that puts an end to all of this.
Send Photos is a software program that turns sending photo email into a fast, fun, and very impressive task.
I was so impressed with this product when I found it (back in 2004 I believe,) that I changed my plan and built this page instead of covering how to shrink your digital photos and attach them for all of the various email programs out there. It's just not worth the trouble.
At less than $30, (the same price it was back then on an older version) this program is a steal! AND there's even a free trial! That's how confident they are in their product!
If you've ever sent photos via email, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it and, if you haven't attempted to send photo emails before, with this software, you'll wonder why people think it's such a pain.
Here's an example of how the e-mail looks to the recipient (IF you choose this particular template - you have TONS to choose from):
You can easily customize the background color and the frame color and shape. They offer hundreds of colorful stationery backgrounds to fit any occasion or you can create your own with your business logo, clip art or your own special artistic flair. Adding captions to each photo or turning them off all together is a piece of cake.
You can easily crop, zoom, remove red eye, and adjust the brightness of images. Spellcheck takes care of typos and misspellings. You can even print your photos at home in 8"x10", 5"x7", 4"x6", 3.5"x5" or 2.5"x3.5" layouts.
You can also create personal web albums by exporting your photo email layouts for uploading and sharing on your web site.
My favorite thing about sending a photo email with SendPhotos Gold is that there's no file-shrinking to deal with. You just select your pictures (any size) from the Image Tray (photo above,) and the program takes care of the rest.
Here's another example of one of their many templates:
Your friends and family will really start looking forward to your next e-mail!
