Snooze bar (a mandatory feature for me!) activates a brilliant amber backlight. Clock uses 1 AAA battery (which is not included) and the photo frame uses included rechargeable batteries.

We haven't tried out this specific , but the Brookstone digital photo products are always top-notch.
