Photo Soap Woes
by: Kelly

Hi Alice! The bottom (what will become the top) clear layer of soap should really be dry before you place your laminated picture on it and pour the top (what will become the bottom) layer.

I'm assuming you didn't actually have soap get inside your lamination, but inside your clear layer? If something laminated well, nothing should seep in for a very, very long time (some older soaps I made did finally start to look discolored after 4-5 years (but that's a considerable amount of time!)

You can always test your lamination by dunking it in water. If no water can get it, then no soap can get in.

Do write back if I've misunderstood your problem.
