photo transfer onto wood

I want to transfer pictures of old farm buildings onto sanded pine plywood. I have scanned these very old photos and will print them on my HP Photosmart printer. Some of the transfers will overlap for affect. These pictures are of a friend's family farm purchased in 1921. The main house has an original two story log cabin inside build in 1795. Any tip for aging the look of this project would also be appreciated.
