Wedding Invitation Help
by: Kelly

Hi Lisa! It CAN be frustrating, can't it? If the pictures seem unclear or fuzzy, you definitely need to get the photographer to send you better copies. If they scanned printed photos, you could ask them to re-scan, starting with at least an 8"x10", and saving to the best quality option they have. The quality of the pictures really makes or breaks photo cards.

Your other concern was about the card colors - purple and brown. Maybe you should try ONLY using the purple instead of both colors (since purple DOES work nicely with black and white.) I've seen black and white photos work well with brown too (although it's trickier) but my gut feel is that it would need to be ONLY black, white, and brown then. Adding a 4th color just might not work. I guess, come to think of it, I probably tend to prefer ALWAYS using just one other color with b&w.

Feel free to add a picture to your question page of what you have now and I'll try to make some more specific recommendations.

Also, make sure to share the end-result with us when you're finished!
